Field-Trip Report Presentation Highlights on the Twelfth Day 2024 Summer Course

Yogyakarta, July 21, 2024 – Today marks the twelfthdayof our highly anticipated 2024 Summer Course activities. This morning’s agenda was particularly engaging as participants from diverse backgrounparticipated in Exercise 6: a field trip report discussion. The session was expertly moderated by apt. Gita Miranda Warsito, S.Farm., M.K.M., M.P.H., ensuring a smooth and insightful exchange of ideas and experiences.

Participants were divided into several groups, each tasked with presenting their reports on recent visits to three significant sites: RPH Giwangan, Naturindo, and Attempe. The discussion was structured into five groups, each guided by a Liaison Officer (LO).

During the presentations, participants elaborated on their activities and observations from the field trips. They provided detailed accounts of their visits, including the various tasks they performed at each location. The reports highlighted the operational processes at RPH Giwangan, the innovative approaches at Naturindo, and the traditional yet evolving practices observed at Attempe.

Furthermore, participants shared their reflections on the most memorable aspects of the field trips. Many admired the commitment to sustainability and innovation they witnessed, while others shared their opinions and hopes regarding the potential future developments of these locations and their broader implications in their respective fields.
