“Fostering the Halal Industry through Science and Technology Perspectives”

Calling out international and domestic students (bachelor and postgraduate) and other professions!

Large numbers of consumers of halal products in Indonesia can foster the potential for the development of the halal industry to supply consumer demand domestically and abroad. Demographically, Indonesia has the most significant percentage of Muslim population in the world. This situation certainly could make Indonesia one of the countries with the largest consumer of halal products in the world. This vast market potency has led many other countries to consider Indonesia their primary target halal product market. Therefore, this is the opportunity for the national halal industry to become a significant player in the global halal sector instead of just being the target market for halal products. In response to this potential, the Faculty of Science and Technology will organize the Summer Course 2023 to provide information and knowledge to domestic and international students to actively participate in sustainable innovation to foster and empower the halal industry.

We are pleased to invite you to register yourself for the Summer Course 2023 organized by Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The Summer Course 2023 Program will be held both online and offline (hybrid) from 11 – 17 July 2023.
